Last Tuesday, I went to Aeropostale at Stonestown Mall in San Francisco to get a new sweater hoodie that I saw online — and it costs $19.99, marked down from $44.50 (a 55% reduction!); along with that, I ended up buying two clearance-item shirts for $5.99 each (one royal blue and one maroon). As I went to the counter, I saw this huge ad that said something like this:

Teens For Jeans – Donate your jeans at Aeropostale from January 26th to February 22nd and receive a 25% off coupon for a new pair of jeans (Read the full details here)
First impression: sounds really cool, because recently, I have lost some weight, and my pant size went down from size 34 to size 33, which is pretty good in my opinion. I also have some pants at my place too that deem to be “oversize” in my opinion because I have lost some weight, thus making them too wide for my belly (and some of them having extra length, reaching the top of my rubber shoes’ soles!). The tricky part for me was which among the oversized pants I had in my closet were to be donated at Aeropostale because many of them I wore for the past 2 years, and I have not used them recently because I bought some new pants. I ended up donating two Tommy Hilfiger pants, both size 34×34 because both were oversized already, and I brought them to the same Aeropostale store I went to in San Francisco. And guess what, after donating them, I received two vouchers that allowed me to buy not one, but (you guessed it) two jeans at 25% off the marked price at Aeropostale!
As mentioned in the website:
Teens for Jeans is a national campaign, launched by AƩropostale and Do Something, empowering YOU to collect jeans for homeless teens.
And I believe that if I did my part to help other teens, so can you! Donate your jeans today and make a difference for others.
